A memorandum of agreement (MOA) for the purpose was signed Friday by Supt. Eric Noble, this town’s police chief, and AIE College Calasiao school director Rene Opiniano and area director John Chris Q. Fuentes.

Noble said this privilege offered to the PNP personnel and their dependents will be a big help to cops, especially those who are financially constrained.

“This is an opportunity for cops and their dependents to avail of quality college education for free tuition fee, but they really have to study hard and finish it,” Opiniano said.

AIE College has its campus on the following places in Calasiao, Dagupan City, Cabanatuan City, San Fernando City, Tarlac City, Urdaneta City, Angeles City, Alaminos City, Olongapo City, Laoag City, Gapan City, and Balanga City.

“Our police here and their dependents are very fortunate to be given rare opportunities. This a manifestation of the community’s support to its cops and its faith in the PNP Integrated Transformation Program,” says PO1 Soledad Sergote, the head of Police Community Relations of the local police.

The grant is in addition to the scholarship for kids initiated by the locally based elementary school, Eagles Nest Foundational Learning Center . Eagle’s Nest a leader in providing pre-school and elementary education is giving 50% tuition discounts to police’s dependents.
