Camacho supports Pasalubong Center

ROSALES-Bayambang Mayor Ricardo M. Camacho visited the Pangasinan’s Best Pasalubong Center at Barangay Carmen West of this town.
Mayor Camacho brought along the much sought after “buro” version of Bayambang and cooked “ginataang kuhol” as he shared lunch with ABONO Party-list Chairman Rosendo O. So.
Also present to savor the delicacies were Nemecio T. Aguilar and Leah M. Rasonable of the National Agribusiness Corporation together with DA RFU I Corn Coordinator Ferdinand Matro and Batangcaoa Punong Barangay Rogelio “Berting” Dumalanta.
The “buro” will be one of the products that will be on the display shelves of the Pangasinan’s Best Pasalubong Center by next month.
The Pasalubong Center is envisioned to be a display area for all products of the different towns and cities of Panagsinan.
Initial products on display are food stuffs, handicrafts and furniture.
“Sana matapos na ang repair ng Calvo Bridge para mas mabilis ang takbo ng kalakal papunta at palabas sa Bayambang,” Camacho said. “Mas madali naming madadala dito sa Pasalubong Center and mga produkto.”
Mayor Camacho also took the occasion to invite the Abono to visit the municipality which will be celebrating the “Bayambang Pistay’s Baley 2009” on March 29 to April 4, 2009.
So said that ABONO Party-list welcomes the holding of the Farmers Day that will be held on April 1 and is extending its support to the officers of the Bayambang Federated Farmers Association who will be inducted.
Mayor Camacho said that a parade of approximately 5,000 farmers will held and will converge at the Bayambang public auditorium where a program to give due recognition to farmers is scheduled.
Abono, for its part, will raffle off a water pump and several sprayers to help the farmers.
“Tama lang na suportahan nating ang ating mga magsasaka na siyang tagpaglikha ng ating pagkain,” So said.
